Temporary Development Specialist I - Riverside
The County of Riverside's Human Resources Temporary Assignment Program (TAP) is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Temporary Development Specialist I to support the Workforce Development Department in Riverside.
The Development Specialist I plays a key role in helping individuals overcome barriers to employment and achieve career success.
Responsibilities include determining eligibility for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funded programs, providing career coaching and job readiness support, assisting with employment placement activities, and connecting participants with valuable training and community resources.
The position also maintains participant records and ensures compliance with program guidelines and requirements.
Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply! A Spanish will be administered to those who qualify.
Work schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, and Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

• Assess suitability of clients for program referral; identify and refer applicants to appropriate service resources.
• Conduct routine testing and assessment; recommend training options and develop client employment and training plans.
