Accounting Clerk

About the Position:

We are looking for a full time Accounting Clerk who will work with a talented and accomplished team.

The ideal candidate will preferably hold an associate degree and have 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable.  Additionally, they must be proficient working on a computer and utilizing Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities


* Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and payment requests.


* Prepare and process electronic transfers, checks, and other payment methods.


* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.


* Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.


* Respond to vendor and branch inquiries regarding payments and account status.


* Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.


* Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.


* Prepare reports and documentation as required by management.


* Support other accounting and administrative functions as assigned.

Qualifications


* Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.


* 1-2 years of accounts payable or accounting experience preferred.


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.


* Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is an asset.


* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.


* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.


* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.


* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

We offer a competitive benefits package that includes hourly rate from $28.40 to $34.75 per hour.
