JOB SUMMARY

The Alloy/Revert Coordinator is responsible for managing and controlling metallic revert materials generated throughout the manufacturing process.

This role ensures proper collection, segregation, tracking, storage, and reintroduction of scrap and reusable metal into production while maintaining quality, safety, and inventory accuracy standards.

The coordinator works closely with production, quality, and purchasing to optimize material recovery and reduce waste.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


* Coordinate collection and handling of revert materials (scrap metal).


* Ensure proper segregation of alloys and metal grades to prevent contamination.


* Monitor inventory levels of alloy/revert materials and maintain accurate records in ERP or inventory systems.


* Schedule movement of revert materials between departments, outside suppliers, and melt house.


* Collaborate with melt shop and production teams to ensure correct material usage and charge makeup.


* Inspect revert material for cleanliness, quality, and compliance with production standards.


* Work with Quality Assurance to resolve material discrepancies or contamination issues.


* Assist in tracking scrap generation trends and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste.


* Assist in cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.


* Responsible for maintaining alloy & revert process flow & work instructions.


* Daily communication with operators and management teams.


* Issue purchase orders for alloy and revert related items.
