Electromechanical Design Engineer

Mission:
The role is part of the Engineering department inside Power Product Hub Europe organization and contributes to the design, development and maintenance of electromechanical, electrotechnical for Low Voltage solutions, supporting the Lines Of Business and manufacturing activities while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, environmental and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design electromechanical solutions for Low Voltage switchboards and Industrial Plug&Socket
• Support technical offer activities for the assigned product ranges portfolio
• Collaborate with Lines of Business for technical analysis and alignment
• Interface with internal and external laboratories for testing, validation, and certification activities
• Prepare and share technical documentation supporting internal and external stakeholders

Main Activities:

• Execution of technical feasibility studies
• Mechanical and Electromechanical design using CAD tools
• Mechanical and electrical technical analysis of solutions
• Bill of Materials (BOM) Management: Review and scrub BOMs for accuracy, completeness, and manufacturability.
• Ensure alignment between design specifications and production requirements
• Leading technical reviews and coordination meetings

Qualifications and Skills:
• Technical diploma (Mechanical, Electrotechnical Technician) or Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering
• Design know-how and experience with CAD design software (CREO preferred)
• Experience in Windchill PDM, PPAP process, XFMEA analysis
• Plastic materials background and expertise in rheological simulation would be very appreciated
• Fluent knowledge of the English language
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
