(Remote) Vice President of Research & Development

Cayenta, a division of Harris; is seeking a Vice President of Research & Development who brings a unique blend of business acumen and technical prowess.

This position calls for adept management and project management capabilities, a visionary approach to product development, financial insight, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the agile process.

As the VP of R&D, you'll be at the forefront of driving continuous innovation.

Your responsibilities include enhancing existing products, seamlessly integrating newly acquired products into our corporate portfolio, and ensuring the smooth incorporation of third-party solutions with Harris' product offerings.

This role is not just about managing processes; it's about leading and inspiring a diverse team of product managers, engineers, architects and more across multiple the US and Canada, working on various products.

Your role as a highly motivated self-starter and team player will be pivotal.

With a focus on both team and client success, as well as the efficiency of business operations, you will guide and motivate a team of 60-70 individuals.

Holding P&L responsibility and forecasting for your team, you'll not just lead but also empower, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence within Cayenta.

This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US.

Travel is required as needed, approximately 25-50%.

Candidates must hold a current, valid passport and be legally eligible to travel internationally.

This includes either passport based visa exemption or possession of any required travel visas for entry into Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.

Salary:

130K - 155K
