Position Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

You will collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to provide high-quality, individualized care.

Key Responsibilities


* Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans


* Provide therapy services for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders


* Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed


* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation


* Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and care team members


* Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning


* Conduct staff training and in-service education


* Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFY) and assist with restorative program training as needed

Qualifications


* Active, unencumbered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in South Carolina (required)


* Must maintain all continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board


* Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred


* Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred


* Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills


* Passion for improving resident quality of life
