Commis Chef Part-Time Position– Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour

At Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour, we’re looking for a dedicated Commis Chef to join our Culinary team and grow under the guidance of our Director of Food & Beverage, Lynn—an industry leader committed to developing the next generation of chefs.

What You’ll Do


* Prepare and present a variety of dishes for our signature restaurant, La Bella Trattoria, including Breakfast, Room Service, and Conference & Events.


* Bring creativity and consistency to every plate, ensuring guests enjoy the highest standards of taste and presentation.


* Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment in line with hygiene and food safety standards.


* Collaborate with the wider Culinary team, contributing ideas and supporting smooth daily operations.

What We’re Looking For


* Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, ideally in a hotel environment.


* Working rights in Australia.


* A positive team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.


* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen and prioritise effectively.


* Pride in presentation – from your uniform and grooming to the dishes you deliver.


* Available to work predominantly morning shifts (breakfast service),  as well as weekends and public holidays as required.
