Location: On-site, Sturtevant, WI

What You'll Do:


* Install, commission, and maintain industrial rotating equipment and power electronic systems at customer sites


* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues involving motors, drives, excitation systems, and related equipment


* Perform field testing, startup support, operational verification, and equipment inspections.


* Utilize diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, vibration instruments, and other electrical/mechanical test tools.


* Read and interpret electrical schematics, control wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.


* Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures and operational issues.


* Train customers on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.


* Document service activities, including field reports, repairs performed, findings, and parts usage.


* Provide field feedback to engineering and manufacturing teams to support continuous product improvement.


* Ensure compliance with safety standards and site regulations


* Up to 50% travel domestically and internationally (as required, sometimes on short notice) to support customer installations and service calls

Education/Experience:


* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, Engineering Technology


* Technical degree, military technical training, or equivalent hands-on industrial experience will also be considered.


* Minimum 5 years of related experience, including customer-facing and/or field service work


* Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks).


* Experience with ERP software similar to Epicor or SAP.
