HVAC Mechanical Technician

Schneider is looking for solid HVAC Mechanical tech in the Wilmington, NC

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Ability to maintain detailed and complete records of maintenance, repair, and testing activities


* Experience with boilers, chillers, variable frequency drives.


* Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment


* Respond to Emergency maintenance requests


* Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and replacements on equipment


* Utilize computer-based work order system


* Off-hour emergency duties


* Perform Preventative Maintenance on controls, pumps, heating, ventilation, and related equipment


* Other duties may be assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES:


* Good understanding of HVAC, BAS, or other control systems


* Minimum 2 pus years of Commercial HVAC/R experience


* Possess outstanding customer service skills and attitude


* Very familiar with pneumatic controls and steam components


* Basic computer knowledge


* Building Automation Experience is a plus


* Must have current HVAC and EPA608 Universal License


* Valid Driver's License


* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel


* •Strong basic math skills


* Strong customer service skills


* Strong verbal and written communication skills

EDUCATION:


* Technical School HVAC Training.

Knowledge in BAS preferred
