DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

Independently build and maintain a stable and efficient infrastructure to optimize service delivery across production, QA, and development environments throughout the development lifecycle.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Monitors, troubleshoots, and continuously improves build, packaging, and deployment processes.


* Implements automated infrastructure capabilities such as backups, security tools, and monitoring for performance tuning and optimization.


* Applies a consistent DevOps approach to enhance quality across all phases of the development lifecycle.


* Utilizes tools for deployment, configuration, infrastructure as code (IaC), and version control (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, Ansible).


* Maintains and supports network infrastructure, databases, cloud and data center operations, and security integration and protocols.


* Demonstrates strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems, release gates, and change governance.


* Optimizes and manages cloud platforms.


* Develops scripts and programs using languages such as Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, Java, SQL, or C++.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

High School Diploma/GED Required

Bachelor's Degree (Technical Degree Preferred) and 4 Years Relevant Experience

6 Years Relevant Experience
