Senior Engineer or Engineer II -Intermediate Planning

COMPENSATION INFORMATION The salary range(s) represents our good faith estimate for the role at this time.

While we strive to provide competitive and transparent compensation, there may be circumstances where an offer is above or outside of the listed range.

We are open to discussing salary expectations with qualified candidates considering factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location will all be considered during the hiring process.


* Senior Engineer  Pay Range: $97,580 – $126,795


* Engineer II Pay Range: $88,000 - $99,000

 Overview
The Engineer is responsible for the development and analysis of the intermediate planning studies.

This requires support of multiple stakeholder working groups, direct stakeholder involvement, and the ability to work within and across departments to achieve desired results.

Key responsibilities include the development of study scopes, technical oversite of the Intermediate Planning processes, documenting outcomes, as well as coordination of the SPP membership on key issues.

As such, a deep understanding of the SPP transmission grid, OATT, and planning processes are required.

The Senior Engineer will support the overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, policy matters, and any other relevant issues to the Intermediate Planning process, including the development of new planning techniques, process improvements, and engineering measurements.
