NHC HealthCare Mauldin is seeking a professional and detail-oriented HIM Assistant to join our post-acute healthcare team in Greenville, SC.
Qualifications


* 1-3 years of Health Information/Medical Records experience preferred


* CCS, CCA, or CPC-A certification preferred


* High school diploma or equivalent


* Knowledge of EHR systems, ICD-10-CM, medical terminology, scanning, and filing


* Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities


* Review and maintain accurate patient medical records


* Scan and QA documents in the EHR system


* Ensure admission and discharge documentation is complete


* Assist physicians and staff with record updates


* Maintain filing systems and support audits/reports
