Licensed Vocational Nurse II - Mental Health Acute (Unit C)

The County of Riverside - Riverside University Health System (RUHS) - Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse II to join their team at Arlington Campus located in Riverside .

Under supervision and direction of a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, or physician, perform nursing duties within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act for vocational nursing in the care of patients in a hospital inpatient setting or outpatient clinic of a hospital, Public Health or Mental Health clinic; and do other work as required.

Candidates with a t least one year of successful experience as an LVN, preferably in a public health clinic environment, are encouraged to apply!

Required valid licenses and certificates:


* California Vocational Nurse's License issued by the California Board of Vocational Nurse and Psychiatric Technician Examiners


* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Work Schedule: 6-12-8 with 8-hour on Tuesdays (shift hours may be discussed during interview process)
