We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our full-time rehab team.

Position Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate, treat, and support residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

You'll collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and therapy teams to deliver individualized, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities


* Perform evaluations within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of physician referral


* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with physician approval


* Provide therapy services in accordance with treatment plans


* Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed


* Maintain accurate clinical documentation (evaluations, progress notes, discharge planning)


* Participate in care plan meetings, utilization review, and interdisciplinary conferences


* Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs and techniques


* Supervise SLPAs and Clinical Fellows (CFY) as applicable


* Conduct staff training and in-service education


* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards

Qualifications


* Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology


* Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)


* CCC-SLP preferred


* Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred


* Knowledge of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders


* Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred


* Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills


* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
