We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team on a PRN basis.

Position Summary

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver therapeutic services that help residents recover, improve mobility, and maintain functional independence.

Key Responsibilities


* Provide direct patient therapy treatments as outlined in care plans


* Assist residents with exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation activities


* Monitor and report patient progress to the Physical Therapist


* Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation


* Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment


* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications


* Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program


* Active, unencumbered PTA license in South Carolina


* Prior experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team


* Passion for helping patients regain independence
