Part-Time Dietitian Consultant

Location: NHC Greenwood
Schedule: 2-4 days per month, in-person during standard business hours (Monday-Friday).

Position Summary:
NHC Greenwood is seeking a Part-Time Dietitian Consultant to support the nutritional care of residents in a long-term care setting.

This role involves assessing high-risk patients, developing care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:


* Evaluate nutritionally high-risk patients, including those with weight loss, pressure injuries, enteral feeding needs, or undergoing dialysis.


* Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop care plans, and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).


* Provide guidance to the Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) on patient nutrition and kitchen sanitation practices.


* Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, therapy team members, and the CDM regarding overall patient care.

Qualifications:


* Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required; RD-eligible candidates may be considered.


* Active South Carolina Dietitian license required.


* Strong communication and time management skills.


* Experience in long-term care preferred; training available for the right candidate.

Compensation:
Hourly rate negotiable.
