Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position located at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Core working hours are from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

Occasional morning meetings may be required; these will be scheduled in advance.

We are seeking an Environmental Services Manager to:


* Lead 24/7 Environmental Services operations across multiple UW Health locations, including oversight of 2nd and 3rd shift teams


* Ensure exceptional cleanliness, safety, and infection prevention in clinical, inpatient, procedural, and public spaces


* Coach, develop, and support supervisors and frontline staff-building engaged, high-performing teams


* Manage labor, productivity, budgets, and regulatory compliance while driving operational excellence


* Partner cross-functionally with clinical and operational leaders to support patient care and facility needs

A day in the life

You might start by connecting with your overnight team, rounding in inpatient units, collaborating with nursing leaders, and following up on service opportunities-all while keeping an eye on staffing, quality metrics, and operational priorities.
