Schneider Digital is the digital department of Schneider Electric, leading the digital transformation in the company by giving support globally to our internal teams and our clients.
Schneider Digital consists of 6 Digital Hubs worldwide which are strategically located to ensure a 24/7 support across the company (France, China, India, USA, Mexico and Spain).
Our Digital Hub in Barcelona is formed by +450 employees working in strategic projects and different roles such as Data, Cybersecurity, ERP, Cloud, Infrastructures, IT Project Management or Digital Marketing.
At Schneider Electric, a global leader in digital transformation for energy management and automation, we are looking to temporarily hire an IT Onsite Support Technician for our offices.
This position is key to ensuring an excellent user experience, maintaining IT service continuity, and guaranteeing the proper functioning of the local technological environment.
What will you do:
* Provide on-site (proximity) support to users, resolving incidents related to devices and office equipment.
* Manage IT inventory, including stock checks and warehouse control.
* Coordinate the shipment and reception of equipment between offices.
* Prepare and configure equipment (laptops, desktops, and mobile devices), ensuring proper setup.
* Keep IT assets updated in corporate management tools.
* Collaborate as local technical support in internal projects.
* Act as a point of contact between users and technical teams, facilitating fast incident resolution.
* Execute service requests following established procedures and standards.
* Provide support for meetings and events, including room setup and checks.
