Experience Design Associate - Employee Experiences

As an Experience Design Associate within the Employee Experience Design team, you will support the creation of AI-driven, adaptive user experiences that respond to user intent and evolving needs across self-service journeys.
Leveraging your foundational knowledge of experience design principles, interaction design, and research practices, you will collaborate closely with senior designers and cross-functional partners to deliver clear, scalable, and user-centered solutions.
Your work will focus on small- to mid-sized features, contributing to the development of a growing agentic design system and helping define how systems respond across varied user inputs and scenarios.
As a core contributor, you will translate user needs and business goals into effective product experiences, while continuing to build your craft in a dynamic, AI-driven environment.
At the Associate level, you are expected to demonstrate proficiency in core design skills, contribute to team execution, and support the evolution of adaptive, conversational, and UI-based interaction patterns that drive consistent and intuitive employee experiences.
Job Responsibilities
* Contribute to the design and delivery of user experiences for small- to mid-sized features, ensuring alignment with user needs, business goals, and design standards.
* Assist in response mapping to define system behavior across different user inputs, journeys, and interaction scenarios.
* Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interfaces that support intuitive and scalable self-service experiences.
* Apply interaction and visual design principles to create consistent, usable, and engaging solutions across adaptive and conversational interfaces.
* Operate with an iterative design mindset, incorporating feedback, research insights, and usability testing to continuously improve experiences.
* Collaborate with product, engineering, and research partners to ensure design solutions are feasible, aligned, and effectively implemented.
* Contribute to the development and evolution of an agentic design system, including reusable components, patterns, and interaction models.
* Incorporate accessibility and inclusive design best practices into all work to support a diverse range of users.
* Utilize data, research, and user feedback to inform decisions and refine design outcomes.
* Clearly communicate design decisions and rationale to team members and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* 2+ years of professional experience or equivalent expertise in experience design or a related UX discipline within the digital product space.
