Job Description:

Role Overview 

We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Production Manager to oversee daily operations within a manufacturing environment.

This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, driving team performance, and maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. 

You will lead a production team, monitor output, and play a key role in implementing operational improvements while ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives. 

 

Key Responsibilities 



* Supervise day-to-day production activities and monitor team productivity 



* Lead shift meetings, track progress, and take action to address delays or issues 



* Implement production plans, performance targets, and continuous improvement initiatives 



* Ensure team members understand their roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations 



* Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous development 



* Enforce compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures 



* Plan and adjust work schedules to support efficient operations 



* Maintain working knowledge of production processes and equipment 



* Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, escalating complex problems when required 



* Support broader business objectives and contribute to overall operational performance 

 

Experience and Education 



* Proven track record in a manufacturing environment supervising production quality and continuity  



* Prior experience in a supervisory or team leadership role 



* Six-Sigma Green Belt certificate is considered a plus 

 

Skills and Knowledge 



* Strong understanding of production operations and manufacturing processes 



* Proven leadership and team management capabilities 



* Effective verbal and written communication skills
