What You'll Do

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will:


* Provide direct resident treatment under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist


* Help residents improve independence with daily living activities and functional mobility


* Maintain timely and compliant documentation


* Assist with restorative nursing programs and staff education


* Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, residents, and families


* Participate in care conferences and rehab meetings


* Educate residents and caregivers on safety, home programs, and fall prevention


* Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices to support independence


* Maintain a safe and positive treatment environment


* Support quality improvement and rehabilitation initiatives

Qualifications

✔ Associate Degree from an accredited COTA program
✔ Current California COTA License in good standing
✔ CPR Certification if required by licensure
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ New grads are encouraged to apply!
✔ Familiarity with Net Health and PointClickCare is a plus
