What You'll Do

As a Staff Occupational Therapist, you will:


* Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans


* Help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, ADLs, and independence


* Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and the interdisciplinary team


* Supervise COTAs, aides, and students


* Participate in care conferences and rehab meetings


* Educate residents and caregivers on safety, fall prevention, adaptive equipment, and home programs


* Recommend assistive devices and adaptive equipment


* Maintain timely and compliant documentation


* Provide staff education and in-services


* Support quality improvement and restorative nursing programs

Qualifications

✔ Licensed Occupational Therapist in California
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required

✔ New Grads encourage to apply!
✔ CPR Certification if required by licensure
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Experience in skilled nursing preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply!
✔ Familiarity with Net Health and PointClickCare is a plus
