Position Details


* Position: Rehab Technician


* Schedule: Full-Time


* Location: Hayward, CA


* Compensation: $26/hour


* Benefits: Full benefits package available

Position Summary

The Rehab Technician performs a variety of non-clinical support duties to help enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of rehabilitation services.

This role works closely with physical, occupational, and speech therapy staff to assist with patient preparation, equipment management, scheduling coordination, and maintaining a safe treatment environment.

Key Responsibilities


* Assist with setup and preparation for physical, occupational, and speech therapy treatments


* Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment


* Transport and assist residents and equipment as directed by therapists


* Coordinate scheduling needs with therapy staff and supervisors


* Monitor and assist with timely completion of rehabilitation documentation


* Maintain inventory and order office and clinical supplies as needed


* Accurately complete logs, reports, and departmental forms


* Participate in rehab meetings, in-services, and training programs


* Support department activities related to claims and denials management


* Follow infection control, safety, and equipment maintenance procedures


* Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times


* Communicate effectively with residents, families, therapists, and staff

Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent required


* Strong organizational and communication skills


* Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment


* Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset


* Healthcare or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
