Position Details


* Position: Registered Nurse (RN)


* Schedule: Full-Time


* Compensation: Starting at $39-40/hour


* Setting: Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for supervising the daily nursing activities of the facility during their assigned shift.

This role ensures that resident care is delivered in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), the RN helps maintain the highest standards of clinical care, safety, and resident well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Leadership Duties


* Supervise and support day-to-day nursing operations during assigned shifts


* Ensure quality resident care is delivered in accordance with care plans and regulatory standards


* Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges


* Complete incident and accident reports as needed


* Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families

Administrative Support


* Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing nursing department operations


* Support the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures


* Maintain compliance with current healthcare regulations and professional standards


* Participate in quality assurance and facility survey processes


* Help coordinate nursing services with interdisciplinary departments

Documentation & Compliance


* Maintain accurate charting, reports, evaluations, and clinical documentation


* Ensure confidentiality and protection of resident health information


* Report any suspected violations related to privacy or facility information systems


* Ensure nursing staff comply with facility procedures and job expectations

Team Collaboration


* Participate in care planning meetings and discharge planning


* Support and mentor nursing staff to promote excellent resident outcomes


* Foster a professional, respectful, and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications


* Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing


* Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred


* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills


* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
