Job Description:

Key Responsibilities 



* Inspect, report defects, and maintain transport equipment. 


* Willing to learn Omnitracs, or current fleet intelligence platform program.  


* Plan logistics to insure on-time delivery; Hours will vary. 


* Obey all applicable traffic and freight-carrier regulations and laws. 


* Meet performance expectations. 


* Obtain and verify shipping bills of lading and other paperwork. 


* Deliver documentation to the shipping office or appropriate colleague when delivery route is complete. 


* Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. 


* Relocate trailer assets at our facility. 


* Maintain a safe work record. 


* Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

Education and Experience 



* High School Diploma or equivalent required. 


* Class A CDL


* Tractor-trailer driving experience with little to no accidents. 


* Strong commitment to safety and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) 


* Ability to be an engaged member of a Team. 


* Must be willing and able to deal with customers and working crews in an efficient, courteous, cooperative and business-like manner whether in person or by telephone. 

 

Knowledge and Skills 



* Load shipments in delivery trucks.


* Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.


* Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items.


* Completes reports by entering required information.


* Provides quality service by following organization standards.


* Follow safety regulations.

Compensation Range:
The pay range for this position is $20.34 - $34.66.

Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $27.50 to $30.00.
