Wage: $27.13 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1.00

Hours: 1:30 am - 6:30am Tuesday through Saturday (25 hours per week).

Hours subject to business needs.

The training could be on a different schedule, currently still during 1st shift, once trained you would move to the established schedule.

Role Focus:

The Part Time Packing Operator is responsible for the smooth operation of daily scheduling needs and coordinates the day-to-day work for all fillers, satisfying production needs and maintaining consistent levels of service production needs.

Responsible for ensuring operational compliance to all food safety policies and procedures.

This role is at a Dairy Foods manufacturing facility for Land O'Lakes, creating dairy products that stand for real, simple goodness.

Required Qualifications & Experiences:


* 18 years or older


* High School Diploma or GED


* 6+ months of manufacturing experience


* Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills.


* Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Experiences:


* 1+ years of continuous prior experience in any industry.


* Self-Reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision.


* Always ensure the physical safety of oneself and co-workers; follow all safety procedures without exception.


* Adhere to safe operation of all equipment, including during cleaning, setup, and production runs.


* Be a steward for Safety, modeling safe behavior and reinforcing best practices with line associates.


* Familiarity with LOTO (Lock Out/Tag Out) procedures and ensure compliance when working with or near energized equipment.


* Follow HACCP principles and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.


* Comply with food and personal safety procedures, company policies, and regulations.


* Conduct machine set-up and pre-operational checks to ensure sanitary conditions and readiness for production.


* Operate coders and verify inkjet date codes and glue machines are functioning correctly.


* Confirm the palletizer is operational and properly aligned with production.


* Perform temperature checks as per SOPs to ensure food safety.


* Observe for product defects such as paneling cups, open seals, or any deviation from quality standards.


* Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with compliance standards.


* Verify the correct product is being packed according to the production schedule and execute product changeovers as required.


* Operate all packing equipment in the department including but not limited to: Spot Pak, 4 - Pack, Jones, P3, BPA, Palletizer (Robot).
