Join our team as a Project Lead-IP at DHL Group! In this pivotal role, responsible for the coordination and execution of end-to-end project logistics operations.

This includes managing multi-modal shipments, aligning internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring delivery against strict timelines, safety standards, and client expectations.

This role offers significant visibility across operations and requires a high level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

 

Key Responsibilities:



* Lead the coordination of project cargo shipments from origin to final delivery, including multi-leg and oversized freight


* Partner closely with Project Managers to execute live shipments and maintain


* operational control across all phases


* Act as the central coordination point between DHL teams, carriers, brokers, and


* service providers locally and globally


* Drive clear, proactive communication across all stakeholders to ensure alignment and mitigate operational risks


* Support detailed logistics planning, including routing, scheduling, and execution


* strategies at the ground level


* Ensure full compliance with HSE standards, customs regulations, and internal operating procedures (SOP/SAP)


* Monitor and report on operational KPIs, identifying inefficiencies and contributing to continuous improvement


* Provide hands-on operational support during peak activity periods or critical project phases


* Collaborate across functions and geographies to deliver consistent, high-quality project execution


* Within the first 12–18 months, the Project Lead will:
+ Demonstrate the ability to independently manage complex shipment coordination
+ Build strong internal and external networks critical to project execution
+ Develop deep operational knowledge across industrial project logistics
+ Establish a reputation for reliability, precision, and execution under pressure
+ Contribute directly to the successful delivery of high-value, time-sensitive projects

 

Skills / Requirements:



* 3–5 years of experience within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain (project exposure is an asset)


* Strong execution mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment


* Clear and confident communicator, capable of coordinating across diverse stakeholders
