Chief of Pediatric Hospital Medicine

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a dynamic Division Chief of Pediatric Hospital Medicine to provide strategic vision and leadership across all divisional missions, including inpatient care delivery, quality and safety, education, scholarly activity, and advocacy.

The Division Chief will partner closely with multidisciplinary leaders to advance clinical excellence, operational performance, and care model innovation, and will report directly to the Chair of Pediatrics, David Brousseau, MD, MS.

Essential Functions:
• Strategic vision and leadership to strengthen the clinical and operational performance of the Division of Hospital Medicine
• Fiscal stewardship and effective operational management

• Support of clinical education and training for interns, residents, and fellows

Division Overview:
The Division of Hospital Medicine includes a diverse team of 19hospitalist-trained physicians, 2 fellows, and 7 nurse practitioners, providing care for approximately 7000 patients annually within a 260-bed, state-of-the-art facility.

The division maintains a strong educational mission and serves as a clinical home to many recognized outstanding educators.

Nemours Children's Health - Delaware is the primary teaching hospital and clerkship site for the Pediatric Residency Program of Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University/Nemours Children's Health, Delaware, and serves as a teaching site for hospital medicine trainees across the region.
