As the Quality Supervisor, you will establish, implement and maintain the processes for Inventory Control and the Quality Management System (QMS).

What you'll do on a typical day:


* Supervise the Inventory Control and Quality Assurance teams


* Maintain inventory records and reconcile discrepancies


* Execute the QMS according to documented policies and procedures, meeting the requirements of the applicable international quality standards


* Review the QMS at planned intervals to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness, including assessing opportunities for improvement and the need for system changes


* Provide high-level reporting on the performance of the system and any recommendations for improvement


* Serve as the site audit authority for all internal and external company audits


* Post all company quality policies and address policy training to make sure it is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels


* Establish and maintain procedures to meet company and customer commitments


* Ensure that facility/departmental training, status and setup are reviewed at the required frequency and that training requirements are met in a timely manner


* Execute corrective and preventive actions, including initiation and recommendation of solutions and project management; verify solution has been implemented until defect has been corrected


* Implement quality initiatives at facilities as required


* Facilitate conflict resolution and enforce company policies and procedures


* Train, motivate and lead others within area of responsibility

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


* 2 years of relevant work experience


* Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment


* Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
