Manager EE procurement

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly accomplished and strategic professional for Regional EE Procurement.

This role will be responsible for driving category procurement strategy, managing supplier and partner factory relationships, and ensuring timely, cost-effective sourcing of high-quality products.

The incumbent will play a critical role in optimizing supplier performance, driving year-on-year productivity, and contributing to overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement Management


* Develop and execute a robust procurement strategy aligned with organizational goals and growth plans.


* Identify, evaluate, and onboard a resilient, scalable, and diversified supplier base.


* Drive category strategies to ensure competitiveness, innovation, and supply continuity.

Supplier Relationship Management


* Build and sustain strong partnerships with suppliers and partner factories.


* Ensure consistent performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and compliance.


* Lead supplier evaluations, negotiations, and long-term contracting strategies.

Cost Optimization & Exception Management


* Monitor market trends, commodity indices, and pricing dynamics.


* Drive cost control initiatives and achieve year-on-year productivity and savings targets.


* Manage supply disruptions, escalations, and exceptions to ensure business continuity.

Data-Driven Decision Making


* Establish and enforce procurement policies, processes, and governance frameworks.


* Leverage analytics to track procurement KPIs, forecast demand, and optimize inventory.


* Generate periodic reports with actionable insights to support continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration


* Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and Systems teams.


* Drive cross-functional initiatives aimed at reducing lead times and improving supply chain efficiency.


* Support new product development and localization initiatives through sourcing expertise.

Leadership & Team Development


* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team.


* Set clear performance objectives and ensure effective execution through regular reviews.


* Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration within the team.

Key Requirements


* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics preferred); Master's degree or certifications (CPSM, CPM) are an advantage.


* 8+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within a manufacturing or electronics environment.


* Proven track record in leading procurement/category management roles.


* Strong supplier management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.


* Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach.


* Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
