DGM -Manufacturing Production

DGM Manufacturing production:Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Operations Management


* Lead and manage production/manufacturing sector performance through structured team leadership and hierarchical animation.


* Align workforce, equipment, and materials with short- and medium-term production requirements.


* Drive execution of standardized work practices across the shopfloor.


* Lead Short Interval Management (SIM) to monitor performance and address deviations in real-time.


* Escalate operational issues proactively and ensure timely resolution.

Manufacturing Performance & Delivery


* Drive operational KPIs across:
+ Safety
+ Quality
+ Delivery/Service levels
+ Cost efficiency


* Optimize utilization of manufacturing resources (people, processes, systems).


* Ensure adherence to SPS (Schneider Production System/Lean principles or equivalent).

People Management


* Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for production teams.


* Build capability through structured training and development plans.


* Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and engagement.

Continuous Improvement


* Champion continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as:
+ Lean Manufacturing
+ Six Sigma
+ A3 Problem Solving
+ 8D / Kaizen


* Identify and eliminate waste, variability, and inefficiencies in production processes.


* Drive sustainable improvements aligned to business and customer needs.

Manufacturing Supply Chain & Planning


* Optimize end-to-end manufacturing flows from supplier to customer.


* Collaborate with planning and supply chain teams to balance capacity and demand.


* Ensure system settings and production planning support operational efficiency.

Change Management


* Apply structured change management methodologies to implement business priorities.


* Ensure smooth adoption of process, system, and organizational changes.


* Deliver initiatives on time, within budget, and aligned with business and people objectives.

Digital & Data-Driven Operations


* Leverage digital tools and systems for:
+ Production planning
+ Performance monitoring
+ Process optimization


* Drive adoption of digital technologies to improve efficiency and decision-making.


* Utilize data insights for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Health, Safety & Compliance


* Ensure safe working conditions through adherence to Health & Safety standards and practices.


* Promote a strong safety culture across the manufacturing floor.
