The Turnaround Scheduler is responsible for all aspects of his/her assigned project area throughout its life cycle.
Schedulers will walk down scope, verify progress, and coordinate with all parties to ensure the schedule reflects proper status and forecast.
During execution Schedulers will mobilize to the field and provided daily forecasts for the management team.
All Turnaround Schedulers will ensure the status of every phase is accurately reflected in the reporting cycle.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Responsible for assisting the Project Manager/Turnaround support staff in the development of detailed job plans and estimates
* Load activities or steps in scheduling software
* Develop procedures to maintain the schedule
* Coordinate scheduling efforts for the client
* Update schedules per the clients scheduling standards
* Deliver information as requested to clients/contractors
* Audit updates to ensure compliance with Client Scheduling Standards.
* Validate recovery plans should they be needed to maintain the planned finish date.
Responsible for schedule data accuracy.
* Review and verify all progress on the project.
* Perform a continuous review of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction schedules to ensure they are fully integrated.
* Provide direction and stewardship of EPC Contractors to ensure that their schedule reporting is performed in compliance with Client reporting standards
* Develop proper scheduling infrastructure for each turnaround: activity codes, resources, WBS nodes, etc.
* Import jobs, tie logic, code, resource load/level all work in the schedule
* Facilitate schedule reviews with TMT and Ops
* Work with planners and operations to develop decom/com plans for each system
* Work with cost group and planners on histograms and start/stop dates of necessary contractors
