BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 5 years' experience in Manufacturing Controls Systems.

Proven track record of successful completion of projects involving software integration, calibration or troubleshooting.

Ability to produce and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.

Strong written communication skills with a keen eye for details in documents.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


* Demonstrated hands-on skill in fault finding, mechanical system troubleshooting, and solid problem resolution skills


* Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills; a team player, yet able to work independently when necessary


* Exceptional problem solving and communication skills, creative, and has strong organizational skills as well as documentation


* Strong, working knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NFPA 70E (Standard for Electrical Safety), NFPA 79 & UL508A codes


* PLC & HMI programming experience or familiarization using Ladder Logic and Structured Text, Functional Block Languages


* Experience with electrical control panel design, building, and wiring.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/EQUIPMENT USED: Interfacing with equipment, entering/retrieving data, and using computer and phone.

Walking to other departments and passing through manufacturing areas on a routine basis.

Some heavy lifting.

Operating lab and testing equipment.
