Your Role:
Senior Veterinary Sales Representative: Tacoma
As a Senior Veterinary Sales Representative, you will be a disruptive force in the Tacoma, Washington territory, responsible for driving growth and building strong client connections with veterinary customers.
You will play a pivotal role in our success during a historic launch period for Elanco's Pet Health organization, leveraging your expertise to meet and exceed sales goals with our innovative portfolio of products.
Your Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to drive product placement and achieve sales goals with key veterinary hospitals and clinics.
* Provide leadership and influence for distributor representatives within the territory, ensuring alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
* Build and maintain strong, impactful partnerships with key decision-makers in veterinary practices, from independent clinics to corporate hospitals.
* Serve as the key liaison with local and state veterinary medical associations (VMAs), coordinating Elanco's presence and efforts at major events.
* Plan and execute impactful product launch events and educational meetings in partnership with veterinary services to drive adoption and expand Elanco's market share.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent level of experience.
* Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales or equivalent experience in a competitive, complex selling environment (e.g., human health medical device, orthopedic sales).
* Top Skills: Demonstrated competitive drive with a proven track record of success and the ability to strategically manage a complex portfolio of products across diverse customer accounts.
* Must have a Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.
* Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
