The Fleet Coordinator as SDI Services plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient transportation and Heavy Equipment and Vehicles management for the organization; manages the daily operations, maintenance schedules, and compliance of a company's vehicle fleet to ensure safety, efficiency, and minimal downtime.

This position requires a strategic thinker who can optimize supply chain operations, manage a fleet of vehicles, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.

The role involves a combination of logistics management, and fleet maintenance to meet operational goals and maintain cost-effectiveness.

This role is based full-time in our office in Sacramento, CA with required travel to job sites as needed.

Position Responsibilities And Duties:


* Identifying and managing equipment, inventory, and job requirements for multiple projects


* Day to Day operation, scheduling and parts and material purchasing


* Shipping and receiving of on-site and off-site equipment, materials, and parts.


* Help implement an Inventory Management System


* Help create, develop and implement inventory policies and procedures


* Regularly maintain the inventory management systems ensuring accuracy and rectifying any discrepancies.


* Coordinates and tracks all shipping and receiving equipment.

Loads and unloads machines.

Prepares needed paperwork and performs inspections on all incoming and outgoing equipment.

Documents of any issues found during pre & post-inspections and communicate problems to appropriate personnel.
