Job Description:
Job Purpose:
Assist applicants in completing credit card applications, guiding them through the process, verifying personal information, and ensuring all required data is accurate and complete. Provide excellent customer service regarding credit card products addressing customer concerns, answering questions about the application process, and resolving issues to enhance their experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
* Receive inbound application calls from potential customers inquiring about credit card products.
* Communicate various credit card features, benefits, terms and conditions, utilize effective sales and negotiation skills to acquire applications and up-front fees for products.
* Review and process new credit card applications, verify applicant information, ensure all required documentation is complete and complies with regulatory, bank and credit card standards.
* Stay up to date on procedures, guidelines, and Compliance regulations.
Skills:
* Customer - focused approach.
* Ability to work independently within an onsite and remote team environment.
* Time management and organizational skills.
* Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Basic computer skills.
Education and Experience:
* Must possess the basic understanding of a credit card.
* Demonstrate ability to communicate product benefits.
* Previous sales skills experience preferred.
* High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The physical demands required to perform the essential functions of the job:
* Extended periods of sitting and working on a computer is required.
* Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
* Work environment is a standard office setting.
