At ERM, as an Consulting Senior Associate, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Generalist, based in Overland Park, Kansas, you’ll be part of a global sustainability consulting firm that helps organizations solve some of their most pressing environmental and operational challenges.

* Contribute to meaningful environmental and EHS projects for large industrial and global clients
* Support compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations
* Help identify and implement solutions that reduce environmental risk and improve sustainability performance
* Play a key role in fieldwork, data collection, and technical reporting that informs critical business decisions
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and access a network of national EHS experts for ongoing learning and development
What You'll Bring:
Required:
* BS in engineering, environmental science or environmental science-related field (e.g., geology), occupational health and safety, or related discipline.
Minimum 3.25 GPA.
or equivalent experience
* 2 to 5 years of relevant environmental experience or professional internships
* Strong commitment to safety, with the ability to work safely outdoors in variable weather conditions and challenging terrain
* Detail-oriented with excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
* Effective written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills
* Experience recording and writing detailed technical data and reports, and building tables and spreadsheets (including tabulation and manipulation of data)
* Demonstrated attributes to become a strong consultant: team-oriented, eager to learn and grow, self-starter, versatile, and service-oriented
* Highly organized with a keen eye for detail, while maintaining a big-picture perspective
* High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
