Pay: $21.00/hour

Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 7:00am to 3:30pm (On-site)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Janitor, Day Porter is an on-site, daytime custodian/janitor who maintains commercial property cleanliness and safety during business hours.

The Day Porter will perform as needed regular cleaning duties in order to support the mission of the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


* When needed replacement of non-LED light bulbs.


* Painting as required.


* Regular HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) filter changes.


* Collect and deliver parts and tools to work areas.


* Clean up job site/work area(s).


* Event Support, setups and cleanup after each event.


* Perform quality control (QC) checks throughout customer facilities.


* Furniture services, assembling new furniture, moving and/or rearranging furniture as needed.


* Other duties as assigned.

Education:


* A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:


* 1-2 years knowledge/experience of industrial cleaning.

* Ability to use a variety of hand tools and maintenance equipment.


* Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.  


* Ability to communicate effectively with customers, management staff, and peers.

Provide excellent customer service.  


* Ability to work with persons with disabling conditions.  


* Must have strong work ethic, be a self-starter, problem-solver, and team player.
