Opportunity Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to define the technical future of Schneider Electric's Energy Management Software & Services portfolio.
This role sits at the center of a highly strategic mission: unifying and advancing technology across Schneider Electric, ETAP, Planon, Digital Grid, and Services-while modernizing platforms and accelerating innovation through cloud-scale architecture and AI-enabled capabilities.
For this U.S.
based position, the expected compensation range is $230,000 - $285,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.
Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Role Purpose
The Chief Software Architect sets the target-state architecture and technical vision for an interconnected portfolio-ensuring scalability, security, and product velocity across diverse platforms and teams.
This role requires a leader who can communicate across multiple CTOs and senior engineering organizations, align competing strategies, and establish practical standards that teams adopt.
Key Responsibilities
* Architecture Vision & Scalable Design
* Define reference architectures, standards, patterns, and guardrails (APIs, data, integration, identity, observability, reliability).
* Design scalable cloud-native systems across portfolio products, including modernization and convergence roadmaps.
AI Deployment & Embedded Intelligence
* Lead architecture for production AI deployment: model lifecycle, MLOps/LLMOps, evaluation, monitoring, governance, and responsible AI.
