Associate Product Manager
Essential Functions
• Lead and manage cross-functional product development projects, ensuring clear communication, timely execution, and accurate project documentation.
Serve as the central point of contact between Innovation, Commercial, Manufacturing, and Procurement to keep projects aligned and progressing toward launch.
• Coordinate new product development from concept through commercialization, ensuring customer and commercial specifications are clearly defined, communicated, and achieved.
• Utilize project management tools such as TeamGuru to develop and maintain timelines, monitor key milestones, document action items, and identify risks that could impact launch timing.
• Maintain clear line of sight for Manufacturing and Procurement so material, component, and part requirements are identified early and ordered in time to support successful commercialization.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of new product launches.
• Review the cost and price structure of existing and future products to support profitability and strategic pricing decisions.
• Identify, recommend, and help execute gross margin improvement initiatives in coordination with Sourcing, Manufacturing, Finance, and Commercial leadership.
• Partner with Inside Sales and Commercial leadership to develop and refine pricing models for new and existing products.
• Assist in gathering and analyzing customer feedback, market input, and competitive intelligence to support product strategy, positioning, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Monitor field performance, warranty trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement, cost reduction, or market expansion.
• Own the creation, review, and continuous improvement of technical marketing materials that support product launches, sales efforts, channel communication, and broader market education.
• Develop and review white papers, case studies, application guides, training materials, technical summaries, product datasheets, presentations, and related collateral to ensure technical accuracy and commercial relevance.
• Translate technical product features, specifications, and application knowledge into clear customer-facing value propositions, product messaging, and sales enablement materials.
• Work closely with Applications Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to develop and review technical marketing materials including white papers, case studies, application guides, training content, and product data sheets.
• Support the Marketing Manager by providing accurate technical content for routing, launch support, and broader product promotion activities.
• Deliver product training to internal stakeholders, sales teams, and channel partners on product functionality, applications, and value propositions.
