Pay: $20-$24/hour (DOE)

Position Summary

Cypress Ridge Care Center is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep and safety of our facility.

This role is essential in ensuring a comfortable, clean, and well-maintained environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities


* Assist with routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building upkeep)


* Perform preventive maintenance tasks and inspections


* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders


* Maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment


* Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards


* Assist with moving equipment, setting up rooms, and other facility needs


* Keep maintenance logs and report issues as needed

Qualifications


* Previous maintenance experience preferred, ideally in healthcare or a similar setting


* Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work


* Ability to use hand and power tools safely


* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


* Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented


* Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
