Overview
Join our dedicated dietary team as a Dietary Cook/Aide, where your enthusiasm and culinary skills will play a vital role in nourishing our residents and creating a warm, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities


* Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and menu specifications


* Assist with food production tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling meals


* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, dining areas, and food storage spaces


* Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent contamination


* Support meal delivery by bussing tables, cleaning dishes, and assisting with food service operations


* Manage time efficiently to meet meal schedules and accommodate resident needs


* Adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols related to sanitation and food safety standards

Qualifications


* Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred


* Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation practices


* Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively


* Previous dietary aide or culinary experience is advantageous


* Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety procedures


* Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude towards residents and staff


* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail

This is a non-exempt, hourly position which cooks meals for residents of a skilled nursing or assisted living facility.
