Job Title: Full-Time Dietary Aide
Location: Tice Valley Post Acute - Walnut Creek, CA
Pay Rate: $19 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time (including weekends/holidays as needed)

Tice Valley Post Acute is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team full-time.

In this essential role, you'll help ensure our residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.

Key Responsibilities


* Assist with meal preparation and tray assembly according to dietary guidelines


* Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely and courteous manner


* Set up, clean, and maintain dining areas before and after meals


* Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures


* Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment


* Support dietary staff and cooks as needed


* Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff

Qualifications


* Previous dietary or food service experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)


* Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment


* Strong attention to cleanliness and safety standards


* Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented


* Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
