Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities


* Oversee daily nursing operations and clinical services


* Ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance


* Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff and department managers


* Collaborate with physicians, therapy, administration, and interdisciplinary teams


* Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives


* Assist with staff development, education, and retention efforts


* Foster a positive and patient-centered clinical culture

Qualifications


* Active California RN license


* Previous leadership experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred


* Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations


* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills


* Passion for mentoring teams and improving patient outcomes
