MV/LV Switchgear Quotation Specialist

Schneider Electric is looking for a Switchgear Quotation Specialist - Medium & Low Voltage to join our team in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Québec.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing accurate, competitive, and customer-focused quotations for product and project orders, while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will act as a key technical and commercial link between Sales, Technical Leads, Tender Managers, and customers-translating technical requirements into optimized switchgear solutions.

Your impact

As a Quotation Specialist, you will:



* Deliver high-quality quotations that balance technical accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability


* Influence customer success by recommending optimized solutions aligned with application needs


* Act as a subject matter expert and ambassador for medium- and low-voltage switchgear


* Contribute to continuous improvement of quotation strategies and processes

What you will do



* Prepare quotations for product and project orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness


* Review RFQs to assess scope clarity, technical feasibility, risk, profitability, and timelines


* Collaborate with Tender Managers, Technical Leads, and Sales to align on requirements and optimizations


* Match products to customer specifications and drawings using strong product knowledge


* Review customer drawings and specifications to ensure technical compliance and competitiveness


* Analyze, document, and communicate contractual and technical terms and conditions


* Prepare lists of clarifications, deviations, and exceptions, and complete data sheets to define scope and mitigate risk


* Stay informed on market conditions and quotation strategies


* Identify opportunities to improve quotation processes and measure their effectiveness


* Participate in internal and external meetings during project execution, as required

What will help you succeed

Required



* Diploma or degree in Electrical / Electronics, or equivalent relevant experience


* Strong experience and knowledge of medium- and low-voltage switchgear


* Quotation and product selection experience, preferably within the electrical industry


* Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications


* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines


* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively


* Proven written and verbal communication skills


* Functional knowledge of English and French is required.

Must be able to work with stakeholders located in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and internationally.
