What you'll achieve
As a HPC Senior System Development Engineer, you will design, define and implement complex system requirements for customers and prepare studies and analyses of existing systems.
You will:
* Deliver assigned system interfaces with design and process across extended teams
* Hands-on management of server, storage, and network components
* Prepare documentation for inspection/testing procedures
* Design, develop and implement cost effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment
* Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment and complete specifications and procedures for new products

Here's what we are looking for with this role:
Essential Requirements
* Hands-on experience with HPC cluster architecture, deployment, and management, including underlying building blocks, cluster deployment/management tools (e.g., Bright Cluster Manager, Omnia, OCAHMI), and cluster monitoring frameworks (e.g., Ganglia, Nagios).
* Familiarity with the Linux Operating System in an integration engineering context.
* Experience in integration and system testing, including the ability to create test plans and test scenarios
* Hands-on experience with Ethernet and InfiniBand interconnects.
* Familiarity with System Management tools (e.g., IPMI).
Desirable Requirements
* Understanding Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA processor architectures, with exposure to NVIDIA GPGPUs.
* Experience optimizing HPC applications in industry verticals and developing end-to-end HPC solution proposals for customer requirements
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The salary range for this position is $123,000.00- $185,000.00
