Senior Lead Software Engineer

Engineering Enablement is a function within the Architecture and Engineering team whose goal is to reduce complexity, improve collaboration, increase development velocity and time to market by providing self-service solutions, engineering standards, and best practices.

The team aims to enable developers to focus on business logic and puts an emphasis on developer experience and product quality.

Job responsibilities


* Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems


* Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems


* Embraces and understands the need for Day 1 Observability in all the solutions they deliver


* Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development


* Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement


* Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture


* Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development building mission critical enterprise applications


* Proficiency in Java/J2EE and REST APIs, Web Services and experience in building event-driven Micro Services


* Proven knowledge of using Continuous Integration(CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices using Jenkins or similar technologies


* Experience working with the core Spring Frameworks including Spring Boot


* Hands-on experience in cloud platforms AWS, Pivotal cloud foundry with containers (Docker Swarm / Kubernetes).

GCP, Azure.


* Hands-on experience with GenAI Developer Tooling
