What are we looking for?

The Test Technician III is responsible for performing duties related to routine and non-routine testing of plastic materials, including testing of a complex nature.

This position may be considered a "testing expert" in specific test standards.

Shift/Schedule: Full-time 1st Shift, M-F 8 AM-5 PM

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary range for this position is $25-30/hour.

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:


* Prepare and set up test samples and test equipment.


* Operate equipment and perform testing in accordance with approved test plan.


* May assist with test plan creation and/or method development; May create test plans or method development independently for assigned tests within area of expert knowledge.


* Obtain and record test data in accordance with standards.


* Perform calculation and analysis of test data.


* May research and troubleshoot inconsistent test data.


* Draft test reports.

May perform the final review of test reports.


* Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed.


* May make recommendations regarding the interpretation and applicability of test standards.


* May communicate with clients regarding general project inquiries, updates, etc.


* Provide training and work instructions to lower-level technicians.


* May provide pricing information for client quotation requests.
