Pharmacy Supervisor – Distribution and ADC Operations

Work Schedule:
100% FTE, Monday - Friday with hours beginning between 6:00 am and 9:30 am.

Rotating 25% evening coverage of 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Rotating remote pager coverage required.

We are seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to:


* Lead and supervise pharmacy technicians, provide day-to-day operational oversight, staffing coordination, and performance management.


* Oversee onboarding, training, and competency development to ensure staff readiness and regulatory compliance.


* Monitor performance metrics and lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery.


* Plan, implement, and evaluate operational projects and process improvements in collaboration with pharmacy leadership and interdisciplinary teams.


* Maintain and optimize workflow systems, automation, and technology to support safe and efficient medication-use processes.


* Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards (e.g., TJC, DEA, USP), while supporting medication safety initiatives and providing operational support as needed.


* Oversee medication distribution and delivery operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient medication dispensing and transport; includes oversight of Hospital at Home operations.


* Manage decentralized automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs), including inventory optimization, restocking processes, and discrepancy resolution.


* Ensure service level of medication storage locations and oversee Technician Check Technician (TCT) programs to ensure standardized workflows, staff competency, and safe medication-use practices.

Education


* Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

* Residency training: PGY2 in pharmacy specialty area of oversight.

* Degree: Master of Science in Pharmacy Administration, Master of Health Care Administration, Master of Business Administration, or other relevant graduate degree.
