Your Role & Responsibilities

As a PTA, you will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to help our residents regain mobility and strength:


* Direct Patient Care: Provide high-quality treatments in accordance with physician-approved treatment plans.


* Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes in compliance with PT Board standards.


* Collaborative Care: Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team regarding resident progress and discharge plans.


* Leadership & Education: Assist the nursing department by training Restorative Aides and participating in facility-wide training programs.


* Discharge Readiness: Instruct families and nursing staff on maintenance programs to ensure a safe transition home.

Qualifications


* Licensure: Must hold a current and valid California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License.


* Mindset: A "patient-first" attitude with a desire to collaborate in a high-energy environment.
